For drivers, dispatchers, and fleet managers

Park first. Practice your phrases.

Misheard is a dictation practice app for iPhone and iPad. Practice place names and dispatch phrases while parked, then compare the transcripts. It does not connect to dispatch, navigation or ELD software, and results in those systems may differ.

Free for 14 days, then $4.99 once. iPhone and iPad, US English. No app account.

The other half

Practice the phrases you use at work.

Dispatch, navigation and other work tools may use different recognition systems. Results can vary with microphones, background noise and context.

Addresses come back wrong. Receiver names come back wrong. The driver repeats it, then pulls over, then types. Or does not pull over.

Misheard lets drivers practice place names and status phrases while parked. It works offline with Keep speech on device enabled, the default; turning that setting off may send audio to Apple.

One round

Say it. See it. Fix it. Say it again.

Illustrative practice example. Your transcript and results may differ.

You saidArrived at receiver, waiting on a door.
Phone heardArrived at receiver, waiting on adore.
TryTry a short pause before "a door," then compare the next transcript. This is a suggestion, not a diagnosis.
Next tryArrived at receiver, waiting on a door. ✓

Coaching suggests a possible adjustment based on the returned transcript. It is not an analysis of your speech sounds, and suggestions can be wrong. Try again and compare the results; improvement is not guaranteed.

For the team

One list for the fleet. Sent as a link.

A dispatcher builds the list: the regular shippers, the lanes, the status phrases the app keeps mangling. Share the link in the driver group. Everyone who opens it gets the same drill.

No accounts, no seats, no onboarding call. A new driver gets the link with their first load.

Build it at misheard.app/l, no app required.

Privacy, security, and price

Nothing to integrate. Nothing to track.

The app has no Misheard backend, account, sync or analytics. Practice history and saved recordings stay in the app’s storage on your device.

Speech recognition runs on your device by default. If you turn off “Keep speech on device,” audio may be sent to Apple for recognition. Misheard does not receive your practice audio or transcripts.

Use non-sensitive practice words and fictional examples. Follow your organization’s requirements for device security, privacy, purchasing and deployment. Practice works offline with Keep speech on device enabled.

The full app unlock is $4.99 USD per person after 14 free days. Practice while parked or away from active work.
