For pickers, leads, and ops managers

Voice picking works when the headset hears fourteen, not forty.

Misheard is a dictation practice app for iPhone and iPad. Practice aisle names, command words and number phrases before a shift, then compare the transcripts. It does not connect to a headset or WMS; results in those systems must be checked separately.

Free for 14 days, then $4.99 once. iPhone and iPad, US English. No app account.

The other half

Separate practice from headset performance.

Words and numbers can be recognized differently as background noise, microphones and context change. A phone practice session cannot reproduce every condition on a warehouse floor.

Misheard supports US English practice. Recognition results are not a judgement of a person’s accent or language ability.

Use Misheard to compare transcripts for terms such as fourteen and forty. Check performance on your actual headset system separately; Misheard does not measure picking accuracy.

One round

Say it. See it. Fix it. Say it again.

Illustrative practice example. Your transcript and results may differ.

You saidAisle fourteen, slot B.
Phone heardAisle forty, slot D.
TryTry stressing the ending of four-TEEN and repeating the letter B clearly, then compare the transcript.
Next tryAisle fourteen, slot B. ✓

Coaching suggests a possible adjustment based on the returned transcript. It is not an analysis of your speech sounds, and suggestions can be wrong. Try again and compare the results; improvement is not guaranteed.

For the team

One list per shift. Sent as a link.

A lead builds the list: the command words, the aisle and slot patterns, the SKUs that always come back wrong. Share the link in the group chat. Everyone who opens it gets the same drill.

No app accounts or central score dashboard. Follow your organization’s approval and purchasing process before team use.

Build it at misheard.app/l without installing anything.

Privacy, security, and price

Practice independently of your work systems.

The app has no Misheard backend, account, sync or analytics. Practice history and saved recordings stay in the app’s storage on your device.

Speech recognition runs on your device by default. If you turn off “Keep speech on device,” audio may be sent to Apple for recognition. Misheard does not receive your practice audio or transcripts.

Use non-sensitive practice words and fictional examples. Follow your organization’s requirements for device security, privacy, purchasing and deployment. Practice works offline with Keep speech on device enabled.

The full app unlock is $4.99 USD per person after 14 free days.

Questions

Questions from warehousing and logistics.

No. Misheard provides practice using Apple’s speech recognition. Results on your headset or voice-picking system must be tested separately.

US English at launch. Other languages will ship as their own apps. The drills are short and the coaching is specific, which is what a second-language speaker needs most.

Build one list, share the link, tell the crew to install the app. Fourteen days free, then $4.99 once. For volume purchasing questions, write to hello@misheard.app.
